Key Responsibilities

  • •Acting as the link between the main kitchen and residents; assist chefs to plate meals and prepare food trolleys; ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • •Monitor stock rotation and comply with COSHH and HACCP guidelines; assist with stock checks and rotation.
  • •Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
  • •Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • •Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams to ensure residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
