Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct complex, high-priority investigations involving external/internal fraud, collusion, corporate policy violations, workplace violence, and other criminal matters within or against USAA.
  • •Perform interviews/interrogations, gather and analyze information, and organize investigative results to substantiate or disprove allegations.
  • •Preserve evidence and present facts in written and/or oral briefings for management and executive leadership.
  • •Support incident management and case preparation, including coordinating IMT meetings as needed.
  • •Participate in pre-event planning, security assessments, and coordination with the USAA Executive Protection team, law enforcement, and venue security; also support internal workplace safety program initiatives and training sessions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •6+ years of relevant experience in corporate fraud investigations, risk mitigation, and federal/state/local or military law enforcement with interviewing skills.
  • •Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002, and other applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • •Excellent communication skills across cross-functional teams, including all levels of the organization.
  • •Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and be willing to travel 25% of the time.
