Key Responsibilities

  • •Design scalable, maintainable, and secure service architectures, identifying platform improvements and reducing technical debt.
  • •Build backend services for web and background workers using C# (functional paradigm) or TypeScript, integrating and managing third-party APIs with monitoring.
  • •Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred), containerize and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes, and build/optimize infrastructure with AWS.
  • •Implement CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Infrastructure as Code, applying security best practices across applications and infrastructure.
  • •Act as a technical mentor and collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver platform solutions, debug complex issues, and raise engineering standards.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of professional software development experience, including distributed systems and platform engineering, with the ability to drive architectural decisions.
  • •Proficiency in typed functional programming in Haskell, Scala, C#, or TypeScript.
  • •Strong SQL/NoSQL experience with PostgreSQL expertise preferred.
  • •Experience building and deploying services with Docker and Kubernetes, and broad AWS (or equivalent cloud) knowledge.
  • •Strong DevOps and security practices (Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, secure coding, testing/automation, performance optimization) plus third-party API integration experience.
