Key Responsibilities

  • •Extend credit within the bank’s loan policy, ensuring decisions, actions, and recommendations comply with laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
  • •Interview commercial loan applicants, evaluate credit/financial history, review collateral adequacy, and authorize or recommend approval/denial.
  • •Maintain current credit files and ensure loan notes, collateral security documents, and loan paperwork are complete, accurate, and policy-compliant.
  • •Monitor loan portfolio performance, recommend risk rating changes, manage past-due collections, and recommend/administrate workout programs for problem loans.
  • •Develop new business and manage an existing loan portfolio, including collecting past due loans and promoting the bank’s favorable image.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to a four-year college degree plus 7 years related experience and/or training, including 6 years related management experience (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to read, analyze, and understand financial reports and legal documents, and respond to complex inquiries from customers and regulators.
  • •Strong mathematical skills for calculating interest, discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages, and related figures.
  • •Critical thinking skills to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions.
  • •Ability to supervise a small group (3–7) and carry out responsibilities such as interviewing, planning, assigning work, and addressing complaints.
