Deliver heavy equipment safely and on schedule for contractors, using real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Key Responsibilities

•Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and timely on required routes while following traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading and unloading goods/materials using specialized equipment; return equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine truck service tasks; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a Class A CDL or the appropriate chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight.
•Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
•Must pass DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs) and be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
•Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and lift/move up to 40 pounds as required.
