Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead delivery of assigned engineering scope, ensuring quality and timely outputs across design, integration, verification, and qualification.
  • •Provide technical ownership of mechanical systems, ensuring requirements understanding, interface management, and engineering solutions aligned to programme needs.
  • •Produce and review engineering artefacts including technical documentation, calculations, analyses, and engineering assessments.
  • •Manage task allocation and delivery progress using Jira and Confluence, aligned to programme cost, schedule, and milestones.
  • •Coach and support engineers across career stages while collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain delivery performance.

Salary: GBP 55,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Professional registration (IEng/CEng) or working towards a STEM-related degree with strong foundations in systems thinking and platform-level integration.
  • •Demonstrable mechanical engineering experience delivering complex mechanical or multi-disciplinary engineering tasks in a regulated environment.
  • •Experience in complex systems design, development, and integration.
  • •Proven platform-level integration experience across mechanical, electrical, systems, and other disciplines.
  • •Familiarity with task and documentation management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
