Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers
  • •Contribute to design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules
  • •Write clean, scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
  • •Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
  • •Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure voice solutions to Aircall clients
  • •Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
  • •Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability
  • •Mentor team members

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in back-end development in a large-scale environment, using a typed language (TypeScript) with a focus on security, scalability, availability, and performance
  • •extensive experience with AWS in production and ability to design for, deploy on, and optimize AWS services
  • •ability to discuss most AWS offerings, their use cases, and explain concepts to junior engineers
  • •experience with serverless services using infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation or Terraform)
  • •strong focus on security in all development work
  • •experience with GraphQL is a huge plus
