Key Responsibilities

•Lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of software codes specifically for Intel quantum hardware constraints.
•Lead the research and development of quantum error correction protocols for fully fault tolerant quantum computing systems.
•Explore the performance of technology alternatives, collaborating with algorithm and application researchers, software engineers and hardware engineers to explore hardware/software trade-offs in the implementation of quantum error correcting codes.
•Collaborate closely with both quantum computing hardware and software teams.
•Translate theoretical QEC concepts into practical, scalable software solutions within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 149,600 - 284,580 annually

Key Requirements

•Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field (plus 1+ years experience)
•Experience in designing quantum error correction protocols (1+ years)
•Demonstrated ability to deliver significant results in a multidisciplinary environment
•Quantum computing industrial experience (1+ years)
•Experience researching and developing QEC codes for hardware constraints
