Key Responsibilities

•Design structural systems for mining and industrial facilities to ensure safety, reliability, and long-term operation.
•Deliver detailed engineering packages from conceptual design through stamped IFC deliverables to enable swift project execution.
•Coordinate design requirements with mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical teams for seamless delivery.
•Conduct structural assessments and site investigations to guide retrofit, remediation, or rehabilitation strategies.
•Provide design leadership to junior engineers and designers and participate in quality reviews.

Key Requirements

•Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario with specialization in structural engineering for heavy industrial mining environments.
•6+ years of hands-on experience designing concrete and steel structures for Canadian industrial facilities with project experience in the Sudbury market.
•Proficiency with structural analysis tools such as S-Frame, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000.
•Ability to perform field reviews, site investigations, and structural condition assessments in active industrial settings.
•Strong collaboration skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
