Staff Engineer, Mechanical & Actuated Systems (R5293)

Design and develop mechanical and actuated systems for autonomous UAV products on the X-BAT platform. Own the full design process from concept and CAD through analysis, tolerance stack-ups, materials selection, and drawing release. Perform structural/kinematic calculations and preliminary FEA, prototype and test mechanisms, and iterate for reliability. Collaborate with electrical, avionics, hydraulics, flight controls, and propulsion teams, supporting prototype integration and ground/flight testing.
