Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive mechanical design and development for components such as frames, structures, covers, and overall machine layouts meeting industry standards and customer requirements.
  • •Create and release accurate bills of materials (BOM) aligned to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and subsystem delivery.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally across product development, customer engineering services, suppliers, production, and aftermarket to deliver projects within agreed KPIs.
  • •Analyze performance data to support continuous product improvement and manufacturing optimization, including supplier quality and production workflows.
  • •Provide engineering support for customer special requests, quality improvements, and supply chain optimization; develop localization strategies and alternative parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) with over 3 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in mining or heavy machinery.
  • •Strong knowledge of diesel machinery design and familiarity with standards including CE, KA, Fops/Rops, and CSA, plus vibration and noise regulations.
  • •Comprehensive understanding of welding and machining processes, metal properties, and manufacturing requirements.
  • •Ability and willingness to travel to challenging environments such as underground mines and construction sites.
  • •Proficiency with engineering tools including Creo, Creo Simulate, and Teamcenter; strong verbal and written communication in English and Chinese.
