Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply machine learning, statistics, optimization, and semiconductor/physical sciences techniques to extract insights and build models from complex semiconductor data.
  • •Develop ML solutions for silicon compose, verification, physical layout, yield learning, defect analysis, and manufacturing optimization.
  • •Leverage LLMs for semiconductor-specific tasks such as EDA use cases, design knowledge extraction, failure triage, and decision automation.
  • •Build graph-based models (GNNs) for netlists, layout graphs, dependency graphs, and process flows.
  • •Architect and implement scalable data pipelines, feature engineering frameworks, and ML systems operating on terabyte- to petabyte-scale datasets.
  • •Mentor and technically guide data scientists on modelling, experimentation, and software quality.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on experience in data science, silicon layout design, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
  • •Experience in semiconductor industry focused on Silicon Design Analog Layout or Physical design and CAD/EDA tools.
  • •Deep expertise in mathematical modelling and statistical inference, including feature extraction/representation learning and supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning.
  • •Proven ability to apply optimization techniques, including reinforcement learning, to real-world engineering or manufacturing problems.
  • •Strong programming skills in Python (and/or R) and experience with large-scale data systems using SQL and distributed data platforms.
