Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues by pulling data from multiple makes/models to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Practice safe job practices when repairing equipment.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs at the shop and, when required, at customer job sites for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain daily paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements and reading schematics.
  • •Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, plus field service/maintenance repair experience preferred.
