Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the management of platform worker and rider classification risks globally, coordinating with international employment lawyers
  • •Monitor and manage high-profile litigation and regulatory investigations, developing defense strategies with local counsel
  • •Partner with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to understand delivery operations and the tech stack and support next-generation delivery solutions
  • •Support cross-functional teams in exploring new business models and strategic opportunities related to platform work
  • •Track and analyze legislative and regulatory developments impacting platform work and advise HQ and market Public Policy teams

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified employment lawyer in an EU jurisdiction with at least 6 years in a law firm and 1–3 years in-house experience (plus)
  • •Deep expertise in platform work and worker classification, including EU Platform Workers Directive
  • •Strong legal judgment with ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders across multi-jurisdictional teams
  • •Excellent legal drafting and executive-level communication skills, including slide presentations
  • •English fluency plus proficiency in at least one additional European language; willingness to relocate to EU markets
