Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic civil engineering leadership and technical governance for development projects, ensuring compliance with AECOM standards and regulatory requirements.
  • •Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications for buildable site development solutions.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary technical specialists across the UK and globally to deliver the civil project portfolio.
  • •Support client engagement, business development, strategic asset planning, sector thought leadership, and mentor/develop civil engineers.
  • •Undertake project management responsibilities across a portfolio of schemes.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or equivalent) or operating at chartered level with demonstrated leadership and professional authority.
  • •Significant experience in development-led infrastructure engineering, ideally within a private or consultancy environment; data centre sector experience is an advantage.
  • •Experience delivering complex civil infrastructure projects, including road geometry, drainage, earthworks, pavements, and underground services using industry-standard software.
  • •Strong knowledge of planning, highways, drainage, and utility approval processes, including understanding of BIM modelling and collaborative platforms.
