Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and execute CSOC Tier 3 containment, eradication, and recovery actions during cyber incidents, including IP/domain blocks and disabling user accounts on government direction.
  • •Perform malware/implant analysis and forensic artifact handling, including digital media analysis and volatile/non-volatile memory and system artifact collection and analysis.
  • •Categorize incidents and events; develop, document, and provide incident investigation reports with lifecycle details, timelines, and corrective action recommendations.
  • •Collaborate with SI Office of Counterintelligence (SIC), Insider Threat Office (SIII), and other law enforcement/counterintelligence personnel as required.
  • •Develop indicators of compromise, perform malware analysis and signature development, and coordinate with CSOC Tier 1 and 2 services to remediate discrepancies and recommend prevention of reoccurrence.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience in cyber security with CSOC operations (CSOS).
  • •Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • •Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • •Compliant with DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and CSSP Incident Responder.
  • •Ability to provide advanced investigation, triage, incident reporting, and forensic/malware analysis to support CSOC operations.
