Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver architectures and innovative solutions to optimize power and performance for next-generation memory and storage subsystems.
  • •Work with design and system architecture teams to identify system requirements and propose novel solutions for diverse applications.
  • •Perform system-level simulations and open/closed-loop performance analysis comparing new architectures against existing paradigms.
  • •Develop models for controllers, components, memory devices, interconnects, and processors, and analyze benefits and tradeoffs.
  • •Capture and benchmark application memory and storage access patterns, spanning from OS/drivers to hardware and firmware controllers.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong exposure to computer architecture analysis and design tradeoffs, with deep understanding of caches, interconnects, and memory controllers.
  • •Exposure to large-scale server systems with emphasis on memory and storage subsystems.
  • •Experience with system-level measuring and benchmarking of sophisticated blocks to assess system impact.
  • •C/C++ experience; Python and SystemC experience is a plus, including understanding of C++ STL.
  • •Ability to model and analyze architectures with deep knowledge of DRAM and NAND memory systems and architecture tradeoff tools/methodologies.
