Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for residents’ physical, emotional and social needs and wellbeing.
  • •Coaching and guiding the team through formal and informal teaching programmes.
  • •Carry out assessments and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • •Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and meet standards, policies and legislation.
  • •Provide clinical oversight including administering/ordering medication and delivering best practice continually.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid NMC pin to work as a Registered Nurse.
  • •Manage the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including oversight of care and individualised care plans.
  • •Administer and order medication and provide clinical guidance to the care team.
  • •Ensure policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard and support CQC tasks.
  • •Communicate and report effectively for safe clinical handovers; have strong critical thinking for night work if applicable.
