Job Summary

Accurately classify import, export, re-export, transit, and bonded-zone shipments by assigning and verifying HS Codes under ZATCA regulations and the GCC Integrated Customs Tariff. Review shipping and product documents to confirm tariff treatment, detect restricted/prohibited goods, and identify required permits. Support customs declarations through approved systems, respond to classification queries and inspections, maintain HS Code records, and monitor regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

•Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other shipping documents to support accurate classification.
•Determine and verify the correct HS Code and applicable customs duty/tariff treatment according to ZATCA, GCC tariffs, and Harmonized System rules.
•Verify product descriptions, materials, functions, quantities, weights, values, and countries of origin; identify prohibited or restricted goods and required approvals.
•Support preparation of customs declarations for import, export, re-export, transit, statistical, and bonded-zone movements using approved customs systems.
•Respond to classification queries, remarks, inspections, and document requests; maintain classification records and monitor regulatory/tariff changes.

Key Requirements

•High-school diploma or higher; diploma or bachelor’s degree in Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
•Relevant experience in customs classification or customs-clearance operations.
•Good knowledge of HS Codes, ZATCA regulations, GCC customs tariffs, and customs documentation.
•Preferred experience with ZATCA, Fasah, or other customs platforms.
•Good Arabic and English communication skills and strong analytical accuracy and attention to detail.
