Key Responsibilities

  • •Weigh, place, and remove birds from RTFCR; inspect and prepare FCR units each morning; record required adjustments to machines and consult FCR engineers on issues.
  • •Observe birds for illness and treat according to instructions; pick up and dispose of mortality; euthanize selected or weak/ill birds per policy.
  • •Monitor and adjust ventilation and light; clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform routine housekeeping and follow biosecurity procedures.
  • •Repair pens or equipment; vaccinate and isolate birds if necessary for disease control.
  • •Record operational information (line, MG, bird weight, medications, feed and water intake, and mortality) and follow assigned duties as needed.

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
