Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead the EH&S function, providing strategic and tactical direction and technical support.
  • •Analyze safety data and coordinate safety efforts for continual improvement.
  • •Investigate industrial accidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries to determine causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
  • •Measure and evaluate safety program effectiveness, including organizing and conducting safety and health training.
  • •Ensure regular audits across office areas, the warehouse, and job sites, maintain safety records, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 8 years of Environmental Health and Safety experience in a related industry/field, with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or Safety Sciences (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • •Developing and implementing effective safety programs, strategies, policies, training, and procedures.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, including interpreting local and state environmental and safety standards.
  • •Knowledge of workers’ compensation and FMLA, and how they apply to state and local safety guidelines.
  • •Proficiency in MS Office suite applications; CSP, OHSP, and MFP certifications preferred but not required.
