Job Summary

Lead and manage the Environmental, Health, & Safety (EH&S) function, setting strategic and tactical direction to advance EH&S requirements. Analyze safety data, investigate accidents and near-misses, and drive continual improvement in safety programs, audits, and corrective actions. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to build a culture of safety, while ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations, including oversight of workers’ compensation and return-to-work activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and lead the EH&S function, providing strategic and tactical direction and technical support.
•Analyze safety data and coordinate safety efforts for continual improvement.
•Investigate industrial accidents, near-misses, and occupational injuries to determine causes, implement preventive measures, and manage return-to-work activities.
•Measure and evaluate safety program effectiveness, including organizing and conducting safety and health training.
•Ensure regular audits across office areas, the warehouse, and job sites, maintain safety records, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Salary: USD 133,633.33 - 186,830 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 8 years of Environmental Health and Safety experience in a related industry/field, with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or Safety Sciences (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Developing and implementing effective safety programs, strategies, policies, training, and procedures.
•Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations, including interpreting local and state environmental and safety standards.
•Knowledge of workers’ compensation and FMLA, and how they apply to state and local safety guidelines.
•Proficiency in MS Office suite applications; CSP, OHSP, and MFP certifications preferred but not required.
