Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead all on-site construction activities for the complete renovation of a university dormitory and assist the Project Manager to ensure project completion and excellence.
  • •Provide field supervision for building renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and utility trade work; direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
  • •Develop pull planning, short-interval planning, and look-ahead scheduling; coordinate demolition, abatement-related activities, structural modifications, MEP systems, and utility upgrades.
  • •Supervise and coordinate major trades and ensure subcontractors understand project phasing, access restrictions, safety requirements, and quality expectations.
  • •Enforce safety and quality: comply with OSHA and company safety plans, conduct inspections/toolbox talks, oversee workmanship/codes, and manage punch list turnover requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent and typically at least 5 years of experience in General Construction.
  • •Experience in project supervision, project coordination, or related work.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad); Procore preferred.
  • •State Contractor Licenses preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years).
