Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, FEED, or detailed design analyses per project scope, codes, and McDermott procedures within schedule and budget.
  • •Lead discipline execution, plan interfaces, and manage time and resources for piping design work.
  • •Direct piping design activities, coordinate with multi-office teams, and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
  • •Review and approve design philosophies, pipe supports, MTOs, and material requisitions in line with contract.
  • •Mentor and evaluate piping team members; support proposals and studies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •15-20 years of piping engineering experience in oil and gas with a major contractor on conceptual, pre-FEED, FEED and detail design.
  • •Experience as Lead Piping Engineer on FEED and EPC projects across multiple offices.
  • •Deep knowledge of Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design Phases; familiar with ANSI, ASME, API, BS, NFPA codes and standards.
  • •Familiar with SP3D / E3D / Navisworks; able to coordinate and execute projects with a travel commitment.
