Key Responsibilities

•Deliver newly hatched chicks from hatchery to farms and return empty carriers to hatchery; ensure timely delivery and proper placement in growers’ houses.
•Load trucks at hatchery, deliver chicks to farms, and wash chick carriers after return to hatchery.
•Possess ability to drive large trucks in all types of weather and use wheel chaining if needed.
•Operate a manual CMV and perform basic mechanical tasks as needed while in transit.
•Collaborate with other drivers and Hatchery staff; may perform other Hatchery related jobs.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma. good reading, writing and math skills required; must have good communication skills, be detail oriented and self motivated.
•Must have a valid CDL Class A license, a good driving record, a drug-free record and must pass a DOT physical.
•Vision correctable to 20/20.
•Must be able to drive large trucks in all types of weather and have the ability to chain wheels, if needed.
•Must be able to lift/push 100+ lbs.
