Key Responsibilities

  • •Receives, pays out cash, and handles negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Sets up, closes, and balances teller station, including balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned.
  • •Records sales of monetary instruments and scans bank documents and proof work.
  • •Assists customers with inquiries in person or by telephone and maintains a neat, well-stocked teller area.
  • •Cross-sells bank products and services while following account protection limits and bank safety and soundness policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with emphasis on office/shop skills, plus 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees in person and by telephone.
  • •Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using money and other forms of measurement.
  • •Ability to follow written/oral instructions and use common sense to resolve routine issues.
  • •Ability to complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
