Key Responsibilities

  • •Write show notes and YouTube descriptions for Smart Money and Smart Travel, coordinating copy editing on a consistent publish schedule.
  • •Create YouTube thumbnail briefs using NerdWallet title/packaging frameworks and coordinate with the thumbnail designer to deliver on time.
  • •Pull and maintain weekly performance data across Megaphone, YouTube Studio, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Veritonic, and deliver executive summaries.
  • •Review episode scripts against the priority link list to confirm correct call-outs to NerdWallet resources.
  • •Strengthen podcast SEO by managing keyword tracking in Ausha and validating YouTube titles, descriptions, and tags with vidIQ; support new channel launches and ongoing packaging.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on podcast and/or YouTube production experience, including writing show notes and episode descriptions/metadata.
  • •Experience producing and packaging podcast content for YouTube channels that grew, with understanding of what drives titles, thumbnails, and descriptions.
  • •Comfort pulling performance data from podcast and YouTube analytics platforms (Megaphone, Apple Podcasts, Spotify for Creators, Veritonic, YouTube Studio).
  • •Experience using SEO/keyword tools for podcasts and YouTube (Ausha and vidIQ or comparable).
  • •Experience managing recurring publishing schedules and coordinating deliverables across editors, designers, and stakeholders.
