Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, transmission, and other truck systems; perform road tests to verify repairs.
•Independently manage parts inventory on the company-issued service truck and document RO findings using TRAIT/IOS devices.
•Communicate with management and customers to obtain approvals on repair estimates and discuss RO findings notes.
•Maintain safety, health, and environmental compliance per OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; conduct pre-/post-trip inspections.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience in a related field, or equivalent combination including degrees/certifications; or 5 years’ related experience.
•At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
•Possess a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
•DOT/regulatory compliance: able to complete DOT forms and pass pre-employment DOT screening, with a valid DOT medical card (or equivalent) and the ability to obtain one if needed.
•Current valid driver’s license with ability to maintain Driver Qualification File.
