Job Summary

Design and develop complex airborne electronic hardware for aerospace systems within Airbus Defence and Space. Lead hardware requirement definition, component selection, and collaboration with firmware, systems teams and certification authorities to ensure DO-254/DO-160 compliance, in a hybrid Getafe area environment with a multidisciplinary team.

•Define hardware requirements and ensure system level requirements allocation
•Perform component selection considering reliability, obsolescence, thermal, and environmental constraints
•Support hardware validation, integration, qualification and environmental testing campaigns
•Collaborate closely with firmware developers, systems designers and certification responsible authorities

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
•5+ years of experience in hardware design for embedded or airborne systems within aerospace, defense, industrial, or high-reliability sectors
•Strong expertise in: Digital and analog electronics; High-speed design; Signal and power integrity; Embedded architectures; EMI/EMC considerations
•Advanced experience with PCB design and review tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or similar
•Experience with aerospace communication protocols and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, ARINC or similar avionics interfaces)
