Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist litigation teams with all aspects of litigation in California state and federal courts, including motion practice, discovery, depositions and document review
  • •Prepare initial drafts of motions and pleadings, and assemble supporting documentation
  • •Conduct legal research, prepare case summaries, and assist with trial preparation
  • •Draft, review, and respond to discovery related documents such as requests for production, answers, demurrers, motions to strike, etc.
  • •Independently prepare for and take the lead on plaintiff and other fact witness depositions (typically via Zoom)

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission in good-standing with the Bar of California is required
  • •Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience in both California state and federal courts
  • •Experience with product liability and mass tort litigation preferred, but candidates with personal injury, medical malpractice, or commercial litigation experience will also be considered
  • •Experience taking plaintiff and other fact witness depositions
  • •Experience handling written discovery, pleadings and motions and conducting legal research
