Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team to invent and test novel/improved electrochemical processing subsystems for wafer and panel semiconductor equipment.
  • •Run iterative cycles combining literature review, engineering design, and experimental testing, using best experimental practices.
  • •Drive integrated design work using computer modeling and multi-physics analysis to guide process performance and cost of ownership.
  • •Coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts (electrical, mechanical, controls, and software) and oversee hardware/automation/fluid/process sub-system development through reliability analysis.
  • •Coordinate process requirements (PIDs and software specifications) and work with patent counsel to draft and implement IP filings.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Physics.
  • •10+ years of experience in the Semiconductor Equipment industry, with familiarity with wet chemical and electroplating processing equipment.
  • •Demonstrated leadership ability and management experience.
  • •Simulation using multi-physics analysis such as COMSOL and Ansys.
  • •Expertise in electrochemical process engineering and wet chemical processing; electroplating experience preferred.
