Key Responsibilities

  • •Under supervision of a senior attorney, draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a broad range of agreements, including sponsorship, collaboration, donations, influencer, technology, services, and procurement-related agreements.
  • •Provide legal support to internal client groups across communications, corporate/external affairs, facilities/operations, and technology teams, including matters involving procurement, company policy, regulatory compliance, privacy/cybersecurity, safety/global security, AI, publicity/privacy rights, and NPO partnerships.
  • •Manage legal issues for internal teams by drafting event/partnership rules and guidelines, advising on internal protocols and policies, and performing risk assessments.
  • •Create deal summaries and maintain day-to-day contractual and operational matters, including preparing letters, reports, and memoranda and supporting presentations to senior management.
  • •Track and update form contracts to reflect current practices and policies, and support maintaining Business & Legal Affairs infrastructure, records, and internal systems.

Key Requirements

  • •JD degree and US bar membership in good standing.
  • •2+ years of relevant attorney experience in a law firm or business/legal affairs role in a television network or technology/media environment.
  • •Ability to draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of business agreements.
  • •Highly organized with strong project management skills and exposure to legal operations and/or process efficiencies.
  • •Fully bilingual; strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
