Senior Controllership Accountant responsible for statutory and tax compliance at the legal entity level, overseeing all accounting activities, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and Romanian standards. Lead reconciliations, tax calculations, and regulatory reporting within a multinational, hybrid-work environment in Bucharest.

Key Responsibilities

•Active participating to internal and statutory accounting, controls, intercompany, treasury, and tax activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Romanian statutory standards.
•Overseeing key reconciliations (Oracle), Labor clearing detailed report and payroll analysis, Quarterly assets reconciliation, Statutory vs. Oracle monthly reconciliations.
•Ensure timely submission of all statutory reports and filings to fiscal authorities through external consultants.
•Review and validate tax calculations and controls to optimize company outcomes.
•Ensure compliance with Romanian regulations by Transfer Price market study, corporate allocation assessment validated by benefit test, Pilar II local reporting requirements and CbC Report.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
•Min. 6-8 years’ experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting
•Fluent business English skills (both communication and writing)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Member of Chartered accountant CECCAR, CAFR, CCF, ACCA, CIMA would be an advantage
