Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess manufacturing capability to ensure processes are developed in line with manufacturing engineering requirements for production readiness against programme milestones.
  • •Coordinate readiness reviews to establish and de-risk manufacturing capability ahead of programme gates, reporting readiness status and recovery actions.
  • •Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks and constraints early in product development, aligned to Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
  • •Collaborate across Airframe, Technology Development, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure manufacturing capability aligns with programme requirements.
  • •Help inform the Manufacturing Readiness strategy using programme requirements and outputs from working groups for the Core Platform.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 51,772 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a minimum HNC qualification and/or completed a recognised apprenticeship.
  • •Good knowledge of manufacturing engineering, industrialisation and/or production readiness within complex engineering environments.
  • •Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical, programme and operational teams.
  • •Ability to objectively assess manufacturing capability, including processes, tooling, facilities and workforce readiness against readiness assessment criteria.
  • •Experience supporting manufacturing readiness assessments and de-risking manufacturing capability ahead of programme gates.
