Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise assigned staff and manage performance, including goal-setting, progress check-ins, documenting concerns, and HRIS updates for promotions, transitions, and separations.
  • •Provide strategic leadership for the sudden-onset rapid response mechanism, including coordination, quality implementation, financial management, compliance, and achievement of project objectives.
  • •Maintain and refine rapid response guidance, tools, templates, operating procedures, and decision pathways to enable efficient assessment and activation of emerging crises.
  • •Coordinate rapid needs assessments, context monitoring, concept development, partner selection review, and draft or contribute to emergency concept notes, donor narratives, response strategies, and logframes/budgets narratives.
  • •Serve as the primary consortium point of contact, representing World Relief in consortium planning and decision-making structures, and provide briefings and recommendations to leadership based on performance and implementation risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 104,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in management, humanitarian assistance, international development, or an advanced degree in a related field.
  • •At least 7 years’ experience leading implementing and/or leadership roles in international humanitarian or development assistance, including complex emergency or rapid response settings.
  • •Extensive experience managing U.S. Government (USG)-funded projects with compliance to USG regulations and donor requirements.
  • •Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • •Familiarity with humanitarian quality and accountability standards (CHS, Sphere) and experience in monitoring and evaluation (indicators, logframes, assessments, and data-driven decision-making).
