Job Summary

Inspect and verify incoming custom-made parts for accuracy against drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samples supporting the U.S. Army Materiel Command’s Picatinny Arsenal. Maintain part and property records in specialized programs, perform quality assurance in accordance with the company QMS and technical publications, and assemble kits for kitting and shipping. Coordinate with the Production Manager and Material Coordinator to ensure inspections, testing, and MIL-STD-129/130 compliant shipment, packing, and receiving.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect incoming custom-made parts for accuracy and tolerance using drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples.
•Maintain accurate databases for parts and property using specialized programs with minimal supervision, including database entry and report/document generation.
•Perform quality assurance tasks IAW the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and applicable technical publications.
•Assemble kits per the technical data package on the statement of work and coordinate inspection/testing of configuration items prior to kitting and shipping.
•Assist the Material Coordinator with shipping, packing, receiving, and shipment tracking; ensure processes follow MIL-STD-129 & 130 DOD standards; support QA and inventory audits.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 65,000 - 73,000 annually

Key Requirements

•US citizen able to pass a pre-employment background check including criminal and financial.
•Minimum high school diploma or GED; associates degree (AA) preferred.
•2 years equivalent experience working with machine tools and testing/measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometer, depth gauges, combination square set) and taking precise measurements.
•Experience using multimeters and insulation testers to assist with testing various cable types and cable assemblies.
•Excellent knowledge of material properties; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is a plus; excellent oral and written communication skills.
