Own the technical direction and architecture of large-scale authentication systems for Grafana’s Identity squad, including redesigning edge authentication. Spend time driving backend development in Go while mentoring senior engineers and aligning organization-wide standards for OAuth/OIDC/SAML/LDAP/SCIM.

•Serve as a technical authority for identity protocols, aligning how OAuth, OIDC, SAML, LDAP, and SCIM are implemented and evolved

•Deep expertise in distributed systems engineering with Go, owning and delivering large-scale production systems end-to-end
•Ability to define technical direction independently and drive architectural decisions with impact beyond your team
•Experience building and operating low-latency, high-throughput services in distributed, multi-tenant environments
•Track record leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives spanning multiple teams or systems
•Expert knowledge of modern identity standards and threat models (OAuth 2.x/2.1, OIDC, SAML) with secure implementation at scale
