Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive early-stage design concepts for test equipment and fixtures in fast-paced product development cycles.
  • •Independently lead test equipment and fixtures design from concept through detailed design, and support bring-up, qualification, and mass production phases.
  • •Participate in and lead design/design reviews for test equipment and fixtures using contract manufacturers as designers.
  • •Collaborate with other groups to research new technologies, materials, and processes and generate creative solutions for evolving needs.

Key Requirements

  • •B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or higher).
  • •5+ years of experience in classical mechanical design of mechanisms, jigs, fixtures, and products/machines development.
  • •Knowledge and experience in automation (e.g., pneumatics/XYZ motion systems) and in design of machining and sheet metal parts.
  • •Knowledge and experience in static analysis and simulations.
  • •Good practice with SolidWorks or CREO CAD tools.
