Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly supervise and coordinate maintenance department functions and programs, including support services.
  • •Assist with interviews and hiring; orientate and train maintenance personnel.
  • •Coach and counsel employees, initiate discipline as required, and evaluate subordinate performance.
  • •Develop and implement preventative maintenance and plant Preventive Maintenance programs to ensure proper equipment operation.
  • •Coordinate maintenance activities with operating department needs and perform regular preventative maintenance and repairs, maintaining records and ensuring safety rules are followed.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-high school education is required.
  • •Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance, plus 1 to 3 years managing people.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding.
  • •Knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • •Working knowledge of hazardous material handling procedures and precision tools, measuring instruments, and hand tools.
