Key Responsibilities

•Optimize/validate HVAC equipment selection (size, configuration, voltage, options) by reviewing plans, specifications, estimates, and proposals.
•Evaluate cost savings and identify potential cost problems across projects.
•Validate project scope by reviewing transition documents, plans/specs; plan EQ/VPP dollar breaks; and confirm quantities and configurations.
•Support sales by developing preliminary/final submittals, leading job cost consensus and submittal release, and making necessary changes.
•Provide technical support after order closure for equipment installation, execution functions, customer satisfaction, including new equipment, start-up, warranty service, and controls equipment.

Key Requirements

•Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Engineering Technology, with at least 2 years in HVAC project management or estimating; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Alternative requirement: at least 5 years in HVAC project management or estimating roles (or equivalent education/work experience).
•Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls is preferred.
•Ability to work outside normal work hours as required.
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations in the prior 3 years.
