Job Summary

Ensure vehicles and equipment operate at maximum efficiency by troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance. Inspect belts, hoses, and mechanical systems; complete and validate equipment inspections and repair orders for safe operation. Maintain repair records and coordinate heavy-duty repairs with the designated repair service. Work across a variety of equipment types using computerized repair/testing systems and standard hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and service vehicles and equipment to support maximum efficiency.
•Inspect belts, hoses, lubrication, and mechanical systems; perform and validate equipment inspections for safe operations.
•Complete electrical, preventative maintenance, and light service tasks as assigned.
•Refer heavy-duty repairs to the designated Repair Service Company and maintain repair records.
•Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion while working with operating staff and coordinating with field teams.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Minimum of 2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas) strongly preferred.
•Strong Microsoft Office skills.
•Ability to handle physical workload and safely operate tools and equipment.
•Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and in a team, self-manage, communicate professionally, and problem-solve while prioritizing tasks.
