Key Responsibilities

•Lead the technical delivery of conceptual through detailed designs of mine waste management facilities (e.g., tailings dams, filtered stacks, co-disposal facilities, waste dumps) and water management facilities (e.g., mine water retention dams, seepage collection ponds).
•Fulfill the role of Engineer of Record (EOR) on tailings dams or similar embankment systems.
•Provide technical direction and mentorship to technical team members.
•Perform independent technical reviews of engineering reports and designs.
•Provide expert advice to clients on engineering matters, including compliance with applicable regulations and standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 125,000 - 223,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
•8+ years of progressive experience in the tailings and mine waste sector.
•Previous experience serving as Engineer of Record for large tailings facilities.
•Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (preferred).
•Bilingualism in French and English (preferred).
