Job Summary

Lead development planning and transport planning delivery for the Development team, combining technical expertise with client-facing leadership. Drive growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, shaping market strategy, and leading major tenders. Provide technical advice through the planning and design process, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and act as Project Director for strategically important commissions while ensuring compliance with SHEQ and corporate responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and pursue new business opportunities to win work and increase market share for the Development team.
•Liaise with regional and office leadership to set and agree growth targets and plans.
•Provide technical advice to clients and support them through the planning and design process.
•Lead and support bids, including reviewing and authorising submissions and demonstrating commercial and technical added value.
•Act as Project Director for major projects and ensure the team complies with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality).
