Job Summary

Own end-to-end delivery of technical programs for multiple concurrent customers in Databricks’ Forward Deployed Engineering team. Build and maintain technical plans, track weekly progress, and mitigate risks to ensure customer outcomes after statement of work is agreed. Lead cross-functional stakeholder execution across engineering, professional services, sales, and internal teams, while expanding expertise in data platform technologies, governance, ETLs, migrations, and data/AI workloads.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver customer outcomes for approximately five concurrent customer projects, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
•Develop detailed technical project plans (milestones, objectives, and key results) from proposals or statements of work.
•Drive weekly progress through detailed tracking and risk mitigation to keep projects on track.
•Facilitate meetings across technical and non-technical stakeholders, from engineering standups to executive steering committees.
•Adapt to changing priorities and steer projects proactively while collaborating across Professional Services, Engineering, and Sales teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 124,800 - 214,500 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, preferably in a B2B SaaS, cloud, or data engineering/analytics environment.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience), with comfort diving deep technically.
•Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technical programs and deliver in a fast-paced environment, with strong Agile/program management methodology knowledge.
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and build consensus across audiences.
•Foundational knowledge of data and AI landscape, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL, streaming, data science, and machine learning.
