Key Responsibilities

•Attend all training sessions and support the lead facilitator in implementing Create & Learn curriculum.
•Assist during 3-hour CS Workshop sessions, 5 days/week, providing one-on-one and small group support to scholars.
•Help scholars troubleshoot code and work through challenges; circulate to check understanding and offer guidance.
•Support technical setup and logistics; help manage classroom environment and attendance tracking.
•Provide feedback on scholar progress to the lead facilitator and help ensure engagement and completion of assignments.

Key Requirements

•Foundational CS knowledge: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Computer Science degree with coursework in Python, AI, or UI/UX design.
•Excellent communication and teamwork: able to collaborate effectively with the lead facilitator and program staff, and maintain professional communication.
•Empathy and patience: able to explain concepts clearly to beginners and adapt explanations to diverse learning styles.
•Adaptability and problem-solving: quick to pivot strategies and troubleshoot challenges in a dynamic classroom environment.
•Growth mindset and eagerness to learn alongside scholars: comfortable asking questions, accepting feedback, and modeling continuous learning.
