Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with legal and product teams globally to review products, features, and initiatives, focusing on UK/EU regulatory risk mitigation.
  • •Draft and negotiate commercial agreements (e.g., supplier, distribution, re-seller, services, sponsorship, marketing, technology, media) and develop contract templates/processes.
  • •Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product, public policy, communications, trust & safety, marketing) on external communications, policy development, and UK/EU/global product launches.
  • •Advise product and business teams on UK/EU laws and regulations impacting platforms, supporting global compliance.
  • •Monitor UK/EU legislative developments affecting platforms and provide timely, actionable guidance to the business.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified UK solicitor (Senior Courts of England & Wales) or qualified lawyer in an EU member state.
  • •Extensive post-qualification legal experience in law firm or in-house settings.
  • •Strong experience counseling products and drafting/negotiating a wide range of contracts focused on UK/EU markets.
  • •Experience across areas including hardware/software, virtual reality, consumer protection, technology/IP, marketing, data protection/privacy, and platform liability.
  • •Ability to assess legal/business risks quickly and provide advice under tight deadlines while managing multiple concurrent matters.
