Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead day-to-day federal advocacy, building relationships across Congressional offices and committee staff with depth in Financial Services/Banking, Ways and Means/Finance, and Appropriations.
  • •Direct contracted federal and state lobbyists and consultants, setting priorities and cadence, and translating work into budget-cycle and procurement insights for Public Sector sellers.
  • •Serve as a trusted resource on policy affecting identity verification, fraud prevention, and financial services, supporting Public Sector sales cycles.
  • •Lead engagement with trade associations and coalitions, managing participation and extracting value from memberships.
  • •Build state-level capability to monitor and report on legislative and regulatory developments related to data brokers, privacy, and identity.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of experience in public policy, government relations, or legislative affairs, ideally with time on Capitol Hill, a trade association, or a regulated fintech/financial services environment.
  • •Working knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes, especially for financial services or identity, with the ability to pick up state-level processes quickly.
  • •Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with bipartisan credibility and experience across House and Senate.
  • •Excellent writing and public speaking ability, comfortable drafting comment letters, testimony, and briefing memos.
  • •Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data; interest in fraud, identity, privacy, and data policy.
