Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage a team of project managers, change managers, project support officers, and other resources, ensuring application of project management methodology and standards.
  • •Perform change management, including mapping customer experience journeys, and work with business units to plan for impact on the business operating model and drive continuous user adoption.
  • •Manage and expand the WHE portfolio of projects by improving visibility into plans, status, dependencies, collaborations, risks, and issues, and by tracking status and milestones across projects.
  • •Oversee the WHE Digital Ecosystem to ensure coherence, impact, value for money, and strategic alignment; support implementation of cross-cutting strategic projects (e.g., the Pandemic Fund).
  • •Drive project management discipline and culture across WHE by establishing governance mechanisms, templates, a project management platform for collaboration, and providing guidance and enforcement of progress tracking and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •An advanced university degree (Master's level) in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • •Professional qualification or foundation certification in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI and Prince 2).
  • •At least 10 years of professional experience in portfolio, programme, and project planning, management, and delivery of complex cross-functional or interdependent projects at the international level.
  • •Proven experience leading and managing a Project Management Office (global or local) or managing large-scale complex programmes, with tracking and reporting mechanisms.
  • •Proven experience defining and implementing a data or digital strategy at programme or organizational level, including digital ecosystem governance (platform lifecycle, data architecture, interoperability).
