Key Responsibilities

•Provides leadership and builds partnership at site across all levels of the organization to foster EH&S culture improvement.
•Partners with site leadership and supervision to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
•Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise; establish and support timely incident investigation process to prevent reoccurrences.
•Ensures timely risk assessments and adequate controls for EH&S processes; oversees comprehensive EH&S training program; maintains readiness for oversight audits (assurance reviews, program evaluations, compliance reviews, OSHA VPP, ISO 14001, etc.)
•Must be willing and able to travel up to 5-10% of the time

Key Requirements

•Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 7 years of experience
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
•5+ years prior experience in EH&S
•Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
•Demonstrated leadership and ability to drive EH&S culture at a site level
