Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons with intellectual rigour, ensuring pupils are challenged, supported, and inspired.
  • •Differentiate and adapt teaching to help each child flourish academically and personally; maintain a stimulating learning environment.
  • •Implement formative and summative assessment practices to recognise achievement, inform planning, and accelerate progress.
  • •Contribute to curriculum design, development, and refinement; prepare pupils for assessments and provide timely feedback.
  • •Provide exemplary pastoral care and uphold the highest safeguarding, child protection, and pupil welfare standards while communicating with parents.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE or other teaching qualification that gives QTS.
  • •Minimum three years of teaching experience and familiarity with the National Curriculum of England and IGCSE/GCSE and/or A Levels as appropriate.
  • •Ability to undergo enhanced child protection screening, including a clean criminal record check and relevant international checks.
  • •Proven commitment to safeguarding children and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
  • •Preferably prior teaching experience in leading independent schools.
