Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate and repair tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures according to manufacturing procedures and safety policies.
  • •Determine materials, machines, and assembly methods/sequences needed to fabricate parts to specifications.
  • •Measure, mark, scribe, set up, and operate required machines to produce precision components.
  • •Verify fabricated parts meet specifications and quality standards; develop prototype parts/tooling solutions when required.
  • •Maintain tooling history documentation and record tooling modifications, including polishing/refinishing as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • •Have a Certificate in CIMM or a related industrial technology discipline (preferred).
  • •Have 3+ years of experience in a tool room with a related technical certificate, or 5+ years of tool room experience without a related technical certificate.
  • •Have experience fabricating, modifying, and repairing tooling in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Be able to read and interpret blueprints/technical drawings and use intermediate math/reading skills.
